Doma-Doma — Restaurant in Kawasaki

I understand the critiques of chain izakaya, I really do. But if you don't come expecting the best food you've ever had, and instead expect solid drinking snacks to rejuvenate you after a long day, it's hard to beat the convenience and simplicity of Doma-Doma. I made a reservation an hour beforehand and the staff made it without any fuss. Drinks came out quick every time throughout the night. Our server, Shuhei, went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. I can navigate Japanese menus but still appreciated the gesture of giving us English and spoke very good English to us, so I do recommend him if you aren't accustomed to reading or speaking Japanese.

I want to reiterate that I understand sometimes chain izakaya staff can be inexperienced and the quality varies, but for my money I would come back here any time for the lightning-fast service and kindness of the staff. Food was fresh and tasty too! My single complaint is that the tablet's drinks menu was messed up - if you tap a lemon sour for example, a different drink would appear on your order screen, so you have to tap around to find the lemon sour hiding on the grapefruit sour button. Just seemed like a small glitch. But yeah, amazing 2 hours of drinking and...

Although a chain restaurant, this place was packed with reservations. Your standard izakaya with a variety of unique dishes including some Korean fusion. Service was a bit complicated since they have a tablet, but also took orders verbally. Very close to the station and a good choice for some delicious food.

唐揚げ食べ放題1人390円と言われ入店。 最初の唐揚げが来てから早速唐揚げをいただき、オカワリをお願い。 40分ほど唐揚げは来ず、店員さんが来て「唐揚げラストオーダーですけど頼みます？」と聞かれ、今頼んでる商品が来てないと話すと、「じゃあそれがラストオーダーです。」とのこと。 20分ほど前からカウンターに置かれ続けている覚めた唐揚げを持ってこられ食べ放題終了。

恐らく最大でもオカワリ1回分しか頼めないように調整しているのでしょうか。 コロナの影響で営業も大変だとは思いますが、客を騙すようなことはしては行けないのでは無いかと思い、土間土間はもう応援出来ないなと残念な気...
