A&W Yagibaru Store — Restaurant in Kitanakagusuku

The burgers here are absolutely amazing! I ordered the melty burger since it was my first time going there and it was love at first bite. The chubby chicken is also something I'd recommend ordering. There's nothing special about the wings, but they do taste good in case you don't feel like ordering a burger from them. I wouldn't recommend the Poutine since it wasn't the best I've had honestly speaking, but everything else on the menu tasted great. The service is fast and food is served while it's hot. They do have staff that can speak English for those who don't know Japanese, but make sure to ask "English please" or "Eigo de onegaishimasu / eigo onegaishimasu [eigo = egg - oh]" and they'll send someone out to take your order. I would recommend taking friends and family here since this is a great place...

The very first A&W in Okinawa. A&W Yagibaru store has opened since 1963 during the American occupation. It is Okinawa's first fast food restaurant. The food is pretty standard across all A&W's. The interior is still nice , but honestly the exterior and bathrooms could use some love. The parking lot is a mess too, only about half of the outside intercoms work. It makes me sad really, this could be a very nice piece of nostoly. The food is good though.staf are all friendly...
