JUMBO STEAK HAN’S Okinawa Rycom — Restaurant in Kitanakagusuku

I recently dined at the steak restaurant inside Rycom Mall with a group of friends, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish.

Firstly, we ordered steaks cooked to different terms, but when they arrived, they were all nearly blue rare, regardless of our preferences. This lack of attention to detail in preparing our main dishes was quite frustrating.

On top of that, we also ordered a chicken plate which was severely lacking in flavor. It tasted bland and unappetizing, leaving us disappointed with yet another dish. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was also subpar. The buffet area was dirty, with food debris scattered around, and the buffet plates themselves were not properly cleaned, which is concerning, especially in a food service establishment.

Considering the underwhelming food quality, the lack of attention to cooking preferences, and the cleanliness issues, I cannot recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a satisfying...

I went to Hans steakhouse in the Aeon/Rycom for lunch. The staff were all courteous, friendly, and helpful. Orders are placed on a tablet that does not offer English so they enter the food for you.

I ordered a 200g tenderloin steak medium rare and basket of fries. The steak was butterflied so thin it would be nearly impossible to cook it under medium. I understand why some places choose to butterfly steaks but 200g is not a very large steak to cook; especially since the restaurant was not busy. The steak came out medium/medium well, nothing tender about it. Basket of fries is enormous and too much for one person to eat. I don’t think I ate a quarter of them.

Unless I am going to meet someone or social gathering I wouldn’t...

Upon entering, I was left with the impression that someone fed AI the prompt “design a decor around the American steak eating experience”

As a result, the motif featured guns and cowboy boots, etc. It was kitschy, but fun.

I liked the self-service buffet that you can order with your dinner. I ended up having a bowl of rice with curry, then the main course of garlic butter steak with rice, finished with some ice cream.

The curry was good as a starter. I love the fact that the steak was cooked rare… I just wish it would’ve been better seasoned. It’s steak, just not very flavorful…
