I used to really enjoy this restaurant but not much anymore. We have been coming regularly for over 20 years or so. It's gone downhill since ownership changed. They seem to cut down on the number of staff as well.
Today we are dealing with kids running around the dining room back and forth to the poor bird by the front door. They were screaming and shrieking at it and staff did absolutely nothing. Meanwhile the sibling was on all fours climbing under tables.
We waited a very long time to get our order taken and when I asked for water it took forever. We have been sitting nearly an hour and we just got our soup. Still waiting on salad.
I haven't even gotten our food yet but I'm already not enjoying my visit and don't know if we will be back. There are plenty of other restaurants to visit with a better atmosphere and service. Management isn't doing what they need to here.
This photo is of the salt shaker. Nothing was coming out and I assumed it was due to humidity like most times. I opened it to shake it up and the inside lid was wet and rusted with dark colored salt stuck to it. If this is what a salt shaker that gets refilled routinely looks like, I'm afraid of whats behind on the kitchen that...
Read moreThis review is based on my last experience tonight. I want to start off by saying this is usually a pretty good place to eat. Tonight I ordered the prime rib medium and it was the worst prime rib I have ever eaten. I couldn’t even eat it it was so tough. I offered a bite to a couple coworkers and they said the same thing. The worst part is I paid $34.00 for it. The other entrees my coworkers had was pretty good love the Japanese salad dressing and the bread is always good. The escargot was not great either. They were very small and I have no idea what they were sitting in but it was not good. The staff was and always is amazing. Again, this review was on my dinner and experience only. Too many other places around that are cheaper with...
Read moreThe staff there were very kind and patient. English menus are provided for those who don't speak Japanese. I enjoyed the food very much and the soup was amazing! There is a lot of parking so you won't have trouble finding a parking spot. This is a good place to bring your family and friends. The restaurant is somewhat dark inside with candles and streamed lights being the only light source, but you can still see around oneself. There is also a cute parrot you'll notice when entering and depending on what drink you order you get a souvenir cup to take home with you! I highly reccomend the milkshakes when you get a sweet tooth since they are absolutely amazing and have just the right amount...
