Cafe Ruri — Restaurant in Kizugawa

It was one of the best experiences in my life. A beautiful elder couple is running this cafe. The cafe is really cozy and well-decorated. The owner seems to love music. Therefore, there are a lot of LP disks and various speakers. Some of them are very classic. It is probably very hard to see any other places. Surely, the cafe flows with beautiful sound and music. Perfect music comes with coffee. That makes me feel like in heaven. We loved and enjoyed drinking coffee, eating nice food, and listening to great music. The grandmother could speak in Korean, and she is eager to learn Korean. So, we had good conversations. We shall come visit...

A wonderful little café full of antique record players and paraphernalia, with a wonderful host, who will play from his huge record collection on request.

When we visited last September, he even bestowed the great honor upon us of playing his Edison rolls!

If you have any affinity with antique record players, this little café / museum is a real must visit! And even if you don't, have a good cup of coffee, a really tasty little pizza, and let the music and atmosphere enchant you.
