EATS IN SPACE — Restaurant in Kofu

About a five minute drive / twelve minute walk behind Takeda Shrine, you’ll find this lovely cafe specializing in coffee and curry. You can take a bus from the station, but if driving I recommend parking at the shrine and walking as the view is excellent and the roads are quite difficult and small to traverse.

The cafe’s atmosphere is cute and stylish, there is a record player playing great music, and there are daily curry's and biscuits. The two owners speak English, and despite myself having a difficult allergy, they were able to accommodate me. The store is small and popular, so you may find you have to wait if you go at peak times.

A hidden spot with great coffee and curry. We enjoyed our meal in family outside, with nicely curated music in the background (not disrupting the peaceful experience).
