Okamoto-chuka Komatsushima-honten — Restaurant in Komatsushima

Delicious Tokushima Ramen that is well worth the wait. (Expect to wait 20-30 mins). Tonkotsu-based soup broth is fragrant but not overpowering like most places. Got their cha siu ramen and added boiled eggs and bean sprouts for toppings (one order of toppings was good to split between two people). Their pork ricebowl was good but a tad too sweet for my liking.

It would be a waste not to try the ramen here. It is a little far from Tokushima Station, but I strongly recommend you to visit this restaurant.

The ramen is a “Shiroiro(=pork bone white soup)” ramen, which is the root of “Tokushima Ramen” and is very tasty and rich.

No wonder it has been in business...
