フラミンゴ見ながらご飯食べるなんてことあります？ ありました。初めて見た時はちょっと目を疑ったのですが、まごうことなきフラミンゴレストランでした。 なんで飲食店でフラミンゴを飼っているのか？
動物だしどうしてもフンとかするから食事との組み合わせどうなんだろう…と思ったのですがフラミンゴの足元は水で、視覚的に厳しい…！ということはなく工夫されていると思います。
名物はカニピラフです。 なんで…？
店内昔ながらの高級感もあり、席もゆったりで居心地がいいです。
全てがなんかよく分からないものの、なんか楽しい。 そんなレストランです。（実際にお客さん入ってたし）

Since they’re animals, I couldn’t help but wonder about hygiene—after all, they do, well, do their business. But their feet are in the water, and the setup was designed in a way that it didn’t feel off-putting at all.

息子のスポーツの大会で福島入り。 地元グルメを調べていたところ、福島出身の方がオススメされていた「メヒコ」に辿り着きました。 以前何かのテレビ番組でも紹介されていましたね。 カニピラフが美味しそうな印象だったのと、店内からフラミンゴが見れる珍しいレストランというので記憶に残っていました。
大きな駐車場も完備されているので、車での旅行者にはありがたいレストランです。
看板メニューのカニピラフは殻付きと剥き身が選べます。 私は迷いなく剥き身にしましたが、息子は何故か殻付きをチョイス。 剥き身の方が食べやすいよ、と言ったのですが写真映えを意識したのでしょうか…。
案の定、食べにくくて「剥き身にすれば良かった」と言っていました笑
お味は期待以上に美味しかったです。 ピラフのお米の一粒一粒にしっかりカニの出汁が染み込んでいて、とにかく風味が豊か！ 鼻に抜ける香りがずーーーっと美味しいカニなんですよ。 カニ好きにはたまらないです。
ピラフが到着するまではずっとフラミンゴを見ていましたが、ピラフが来てからはフラミンゴを見ることなく一心不乱で食しました。 本当に美味しかった！
