CAFE803 — Restaurant in Koshigaya

This is such a great place and I hope it continues to exist in these uncertain times. It's not just a cafe, but also a place to connect with the local community. There are a lot of events held here and it seems to be very popular. The space at the back is great for parents with small kids who wouldn't enjoy a traditional cafe. There are books and roots for little ones to play with and the tables are low, to make it easier for them to move around and eat, as they like to do. I would have loved to visit such a place when my daughter was a toddler.

The menu is surprisingly large with coffees cakes, ice-cream and waffles galore, along with different kinds of bread.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly and the decor is very cool. I hope to go back there again, and maybe even take part in one of...

It's a very pretty, local cafe and bakery. There're plenty of space there and the staff is very friendly~ Lunch is actually big and delicious, consists of a lot of vegetables. Bread is tasty, too, but sadly, I must say there are not much to choose from. Drink is not included in lunch, so you have to buy it separately with a ¥50 discount. I wouldn't recommend coffee here - cappuccino was extremely hot and bitter, with an overwhipped foam. I couldn't even drink it, so just left as it was. Maybe other drinks...

今日のランチはCAFE803。 越谷市の老舗金物屋釘清商店が、地域活性化の一環としてコミュニティスペースを併設したベーカリーカフェを2016年12月8日にオープンさせました。 屋号の " 803 " は、店舗の裏にある大正時代に建てられた「八百喜参」の蔵に因んだモノ。 お店があるのは旧4号国道(旧道)沿い。 駐車場は埼玉県道49号沿いに9台分確保されてますので、車でも大丈夫。 店内はいわゆる古民家カフェ。 展示物等がお洒落です。 フリーwifiあり。

立ち寄った時間が遅かった為、パンはあまり残ってませんでした。 (´；ω；`) 古民家複合施設 はかり屋のキッシュとフレンチ惣菜のお店 minetteなんかもそうですが、この界隈の古民家カフェはAM12:00頃には売り切れてしまうお店が多いようです。 残ってたパンから一品づつ選んで、ランチセットにして貰います。

今日のランチセットは、" パン一品 " 、" 具だくさんポークビーンズ " 、" ほうれん草としめじのキッシュ " 、" コンソメスープ " 、" ミニサラダ " 。 ドリンクはセットには入りませんが、100円引きでセットに付けてくれます。 私が選んだパンは " ラズベリークリームチーズ " 。 主人は " 中村肉屋さんのコロッケコッペ " をチョイス。

食べます。 私の " ラズベリークリームチーズパン " は中にクリームチーズが所々ポツポツ入っている。 真ん中にクリームチーズがたっぷり入ってるパンを想像してたので、クリームチーズが少なく感じる。 ラズベリーはドライフルーツの硬いもの。 柔らかいほうが良いなー。

" 中村肉屋さんのコロッケコッペ " はコロッケが豚挽き肉多めで美味しいです。 パン自体の味は普通かな？ 焼き立てだったらもっと美味しいでしょうけどね。

" 具だくさんポークビーンズ " は熱々。 その名の通り、ビーンズやジャガイモ等具が一杯入ってます。 " ほうれん草としめじのキッシュ " も美味しい！ キッシュが小さかったので、もっと食べたかった。 " コンソメスープ " は、塩味抑えめの優しい味。 柔らかく煮込まれたタマネギやニンジン等、これまた具沢山です。 " ミニサラダ " はレタスの上に千切りキャベツ、ダイコン・ニンジン・キュウリの酢漬け、プチトマトが。 ドレッシングは和風ドレッシング。 酢漬けが甘い味付けで、ピクルスが苦手な主人でも美味しく食べられたらしい。
