My partner and I visited back in June and this is the best meal we had the whole month we were in Japan. The owner and staff are very kind and helpful. It was the best ramen I have ever had. A wonderfully simple place on the way to the suizenji garden. The interior is simple and neat. What's even simpler is the menu with few options and little additions ( in a good way). The pork option is a great choice, the broth is light yet with a depth of flavour to covet, the addition of chasu and egg only increases the enjoyability of the dish.

I would definitely recommend it, even for foreigners as the chef speaks...

Excellent shio ramen! I ordered the set with rice and braised pork. The chef runs the place by himself, from greeting the customers, order taking , making the ramen, serving and even manages the payment, yet he still greets every customer with a smile on his face and try his best to explain to foreign customers in English what is on the menu.
