We had the most delicious meal here during our cycling trip around Lake Biwa! We got the butter chicken and salted caramel macaroons. The butter chicken was savory, flavorful, and well spiced. It was advertised to be really spicy, but wasn’t bad at all. The macaroons were so creamy and delicious; some of the best we’ve had. The workers were kind, friendly, and accommodating for English speakers. We enjoyed our meal outside on the patio, and admired the views of the lake. If you’re cycling as well, they have great bike parking in the front. Highly recommend and would love to come back...

Not a bad experience, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Nice to have some outdoor tables. Would be great to see a lunch set including salad, as my sandwich had no vegetables in it. Coffee was okay. I took my own cup as unfortunately they use disposable cups, even when dining in, so a lot of unnecessary...

We had the most delicious meal here during our cycling trip around Lake Biwa! We got the butter chicken and salted caramel macaroons. The butter chicken was savory, flavorful, and well spiced. It was advertised to be really spicy, but wasn’t bad at all. The macaroons were so creamy and delicious; some of the best we’ve had. The workers were kind, friendly, and accommodating for English speakers. We enjoyed our meal outside on the patio, and admired the views of the lake. If you’re cycling as well, they have great bike parking in the front. Highly recommend and would love to come back again someday!

琵琶湖博物館のすぐ近くにある CAFÉ REED さんに立ち寄りました。琵琶湖周辺を散策した後に立ち寄るのにぴったりのカフェで、店内は大きな窓から光が差し込み、開放感のある雰囲気が心地よかったです。特徴的なのは、ペット同伴で利用できる点。ワンちゃん連れのお客様も多く見かけ、ペットと一緒にゆったりとした時間を過ごせる貴重な場所だと感じました。また、赤ちゃん連れでの入店も可能で、子育て中のご家族にとってもありがたい配慮がされている点が好印象でした。 今回注文したのは土日限定の「タコライス」。見た目も鮮やかで、野菜とお肉のバランスがちょうど良く、量も食べやすいサイズ感でした。ボリューム過多でも少なすぎることもなく、ちょうど満足感が得られるくらいで、男女問わず楽しめると思います。味付けも程よいスパイシーさで、暑い夏にぴったりの一品でした。 真夏日の来店でしたが、店内は涼しく、冷たいドリンクと一緒にゆったりと休憩でき、湖岸の散策で火照った体を癒すには最良の場所だと思います。おしゃれな空間でありながら堅苦しくなく、地元の方から観光客まで気軽に立ち寄れる雰囲気がありました。琵琶湖博物館を訪れる方や、ペット連れで食事やカフェを楽しみたい方にはぜひおすすめしたい一軒です。
