The atmosphere was homey, 2 couples was managing the shop Their food was great!!! More like amazing 😆😆 It was my first time trying horse meat, I was scared to try at first but decided to try it after seeing the reviews on it. The meat indeed really tasted very similarly to beef We had 2 plates of horse meat set, 1 plate of pork katsu and 1 bowl of udon cost us abt 5700+ yen. Food portions were very generous and it made us full after a day of trekking. Love the owners and the food, will come again in the future!!! 😍

Great food served by the loveliest couple! We ordered the horse steak and the beef rice bowl and it was excellent! You can't go wrong with either of the dishes. Highly recommend anyone (especially travellers passing by the town) to give this restaurant a visit.

近くの温泉ホテル泊まって、散歩しながらここに食べにきました。夜8時ぐらい入っても大丈夫で言われたから、温泉終わって7時ごろ店入りました。どっちが美味しいかわからないからとりあえず馬ステーキと山菜のチャーハンみたいな物注文しました。 馬ステーキは肉の中は赤い状態で，柔らかくて、胡椒などの味も付いて、とてもおいしかったです！さすが25年の看板メニュー！おすすめです♪子供も食べたらまた食べたい感じ，ちょっと赤身あるから少し遠慮しましたが。また食べたい肉ですね♪臭みも全然なくて！ 山菜チャーハンはとても美味しかったです♪今も山菜の時期で，きのこと合わせて子供も大好きです♪山菜のだしかちゃんと付いて、味は優しいですが，美味しいです♪ちなみに山菜チャーハンについてる卵スープはとても好きな味で足りない感じです。 ナポカツはカツ柔らかいです。麺は少しこしある感じで、ソースはまあまあ美味しいかな。 マロンケーキは食べたかったけど、お腹いっぱいで、次回の楽しみですね♪

During our stay in the area we came here 4 times for the delicious food. The yakiniku bowl, tempura udon, curry and morning set are worth stopping for if you’re just passing by, or if you’re staying you should definitely plan in a dinner here at least once. English menu available and the owners are a helpful...

From our first bite of the tonkatsu curry we looked at eachother in astonishment. Absolutely wonderful! The best curry we had during our month in Japan. The cafe is super cozy and the owner is very friendly. I would definitely go again if I had more time...
