We were greeted by both 'grandma' and 'grandpa' with friendly smiles that made us feel at home... grandma was talking to other customers but stopped and immediately warmly welcomed us and gave us the menu. After exploring Kamikochi, we were in search of a place to have dinner. Fortunately, we found this restaurant. Although it was closed, the kind auntie prepared a delightful meal for us. The tonkatsu was excellent, and her kindness made the experience even more memorable.
