Extra rich flavour dipping noodles (tsukemen). Very unique and tasty. The noodles are thick and hard to grab with chopsticks. I had the rosy sea bass (nodoguro) version this time, but would love to try the prawn version next time! You order by buying a meal ticket in advance from the ticket machine at the entrance. They also lend you a paper apron so you don't get your clothes dirty!

I’ve try a lot of different type of Tsukemen from different store. For me SMILE TSUKEMEN is THE BEST so far. The reason why is they make it savory but not salty at all. Usually when I ate at other Tsukemen shop there is a long salty taste even I drink a lot of water.maybe (too much MSG).Here I will say they made it Natural and Great! FAVE❀

I ordered the Ise Ebi Tsukemen which came with a thick, bubbly broth! The richness of the taste is unlike anything I've tasted in Japan. It's similar to the taste of prawn noodles in Singapore, so it reminded me of home 😉 I highly recommend it!! The shop is clean and the service was friendly and efficient. A great find in Matsusaka!
