Awaji Aun — Restaurant in Minamiawaji

Tried to come here. Even though the store was empty apart from one 2-person table they did not seat us. They did kindly show us to another restaurant. I got the sense they just did not want foreigners as they had a sign only in English saying the tables are full... obviously they were not. We had similar problems in other restaurants in town and it was overall not a very friendly town for foreigners.

I did initially write a review but was a bit harsh in the initial wording so deleted it. The owners responded to that old review but I did not have a chance to read it, except that it suggested they had staffing constraints. It definitely seemed like they had enough staff to serve the amount of people present (since there was only one other group of guests).
