Tonight I dined at Cafe Seizan, which was a short .3 mile walk from my hotel. The humidity and thickness in the air was present all day, with the occasional drops of rain, but no significant showers. As I approached the restaurant it began to rain lightly and as dinner arrived an absolute downpour had ensued. After dinner I waited around for 10 minutes —hoping the rain would abate, but it never did. So I threw on my hoodie and went to settle the bill. At the counter the woman asked if I had an umbrella and I shook my head no. Then she told me to wait for a moment, as she fetched an umbrella from the backroom. She told me she would pick it up from the hotel in a couple days. I thanked her, but insisted I bring it back tonight (since I was planning to checkout tomorrow). I walked back to my hotel and then hopped in the car to complete the quest of returning the umbrella. As I arrived, I saw her standing on the porch. I hopped out of the car and enthusiastically thrusted the umbrella to the sky to let her know I had returned— despite her kindness being the true hero. I tried to tip her to express my gratitude, for her thoughtful and considerate gesture— but to no avail. This wasn’t just customer service, this was a true reflection of how this person cares for other human’s. THANK YOU so much!

My husband got the Bolognese pizza and it was more of a sausage pizza, very little red sauce and just greasy pork meat. I got the margarita, the cheese was good, but despite the amazing red sauce smell you get when you come in, the sauce...

A place like minamifurano doesn’t have many food options in the evening, it is a nice surprise.
If you are staying at Marriott inn this a perfect place for dinner as Marriott inn does not have a restaurant and the rest stop restaurants close early in the evening.
Pizza tastes good and get some wine or beer together. Recommend the keema...
