Being famous, the long wait to be seated is expected.

But the service, taste and quality of the foods are amazing. This is more than just a pretty Instagram-able melon-based foods.

  1. The parfait will surprise you for sure (size, appearance) but the sweetness of the vanilla ice cream was not overpowering which balances the whole thing. Very delicious for sure but I recommend sharing it instead of eating the whole thing by yourself.

  2. The roll cake is also a recommended order, if you can. Soft and delicious and similarly like the parfait, not overly sweet.

  3. Their attentiveness and their service makes you forget you waited that long to be seated. Wonderful experience for sure.

Today I tried the Melon Roll Cake and Sazae Monaka. It did not disappoint, the anko in the sazae was nuanced with flavor. I would definitely order again. As well as the Melon Roll Cake! The melon really shined subtly through the cream.

I have read the backstory of this cafe before and hope to see the popularity of Minamiizu melons rise! I'll partake by sharing many Melon Monaka's with my loved ones...

1月21日土曜日へ訪問 前日から再販のメロンパフェがお目当てです 当日は東伊豆を食事などしながら行こうと思ってたのですが万が一売切れると嫌だったので 開店10分前に到着 オープンと同時に入店寒い時期なので並ぶ人はいませんでした 早速メロンパフェをかみさんの分も含め2つ注文 提供迄は少しかかりましたが1番だからだと思います。 大きなパフェにメロンが刺さっていました 量は大きめで食事後のデザートだと食べ切るのはキツイかも知れません 生クリームはかなり美味しく食べ進めるとスポンジへ到達ふわふわのスポンジも絶品です メロンの成熟で少量の提供となるそうで 少し硬かったのが気になりました 本音はもう少し熟すと文句なし(タイミング的な要素もあるかも知れません) 値段も安く大満足です。 パフェ以外の商品は前もって予約が可能でしたので 保険と思ってメロンショートケーキとプリンとお土産用のモナカをテイクアウト 夕御飯後のデザートで食べましたが ショートケーキはかなり美味しい 近くに来たら絶対に買うやつです プリンは卵感の強い物にメロンシロップをかけて食べました 最初はかけないで食べると良いでしょう
