Hibiki — Restaurant in Minamiuonuma

I stopped here for lunch after visiting the nearby temple. It was a great refuge from the bad weather but even better was the absolutely delightful family that runs this place. We communicated exclusively through translators, but we had the best time talking and joking and learning about eachother. They are in every way the ideal example of premier japanese hospitality. I was in the area sightseeing today and found this restaurant nearby, so my husband and I went here for lunch, it's a restaurant run by a sweet family. Many selections on the lunch menu, its good. Even though I can't speak Japanese, they tried their best to help. The young lady was very friendly and kind, we didn't understand the local bus system, she spent a lot of time helping me out.
