Karaage (friend chicken) was delicious— juicy, plump, hits the spot in cold rainy weather. However it is a little salty. I had it as a side (¥500). No menu, except on the wall — all in Japanese. But I knew what I wanted and ordered with the really quite nice obasan.
The grilled eel on rice was as others had described. Plump and fleshy, good char. So good!
