Yumeya Ramen — Restaurant in Misawa

A - MAZ - ING! I was here years ago (circa 2014) and loved it and have come back now 2025 and it is consistently awesome. Price to flavor value is a total 5 star. But there is better.

Top point is that the Karaage chicken is generally the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The fried rice is top-notch, but I’ve had better. But for the excellent flavor and inexpensive price, this place is a 5 star all day.

The Ramen soups are well flavored and definitely a good value, but I have had other ramen that were a little more creative and had a better variety of textures and flavors. That in no way is to say that this is not good but simply that I have had better. But in having those dishes that are better they also came with a much higher price tag, generally double $$.

I think if you go in with proper expectations of really good 8 out of 10 level food with 10 out of 10 value in price, you will never be disappointed.

I really don’t like soup & I really dislike Ramen. BUT! My wife loves soup & Ramen soup. 1st we went for a walk on the beach then after the beach we stopped by Yumeya Cat Balls Ramen before going on base.
