Takumi-ya — Restaurant in Misawa

This is 5 stars for a ramen restaurant in Misawa. Would probably go 4 or 4.5 if we were talking Sapporo or Tokyo.

OK, So we were there Sunday night. We were in town over the weekend and hit ramen.

My wife got big vegetable, son #1 got tan tan men, son #2 got miso butter corn, and I got the Japanese flavored ramen (wished I spoke Japanese, because I don't think that is what it's called). First off. The soups? Incredible. I personally like the big vegetable soup better than mine. But I loved my ramen overall. Both soups had good deep flavor. You can tell the cooks are skilled. I really like my wife's and my ramen. I probably would not order what my son's got. EVEN THOUGH I love miso butter corn and tantanmen.

The noodles? So, they have a banner in the store that says their noodles are a brand that serves BIG ramen shops like Sumire in Yokohama and quite a few others. And you can tell. Wife got thicker noodles, mine were more traditional. Am not a fan of the thicker noodles, but like I said, my ramen as is was great! I don't think you could do better for the noodles. The chasiu and extras were great as well. The only thing I wished, was I had more meat!

My wife ordered the "large" ramens for all of us, and we regretted it (in a good way). In Tokyo, when you go large, it's almost like you don't. But here? Going large gets you LARGE. First world problems I know!

If I lived in Misawa again (did for 7 years) I think this would be my #1.

Could not tell you about the gyoza or stuff like that. But what I did like was the Daikon pickles. Those are homemade....

久しぶりに訪れたが、店内小綺麗。 カウンター席は少ないが、テーブルに小上がりもある。 接客も問題なし。 着席してオーダー。 中央に無料コーナーがあります。 漬物、紅しょうが、青ネギ、ニンニク、ゆで玉子。

クチコミでオーナーが変わったってありましたけど？ メニューの内容は変わらないかな？ トッピングの種類も変わらず多い。あれこれ頼むと怖い金額になりそう。

Wチャーシューめん。しょうゆ。

たくさんのお肉をよけよけ、スープを味わうといいお味。美味しい。 でも、かなり味濃いです。濃口の自分が後半濃さが気になってスープ残しました。 麺は普通の太さのちぢれ麺。コシもありスープとの相性も良く美味しい。 炙ったチャーシューも程よい香ばしさ。焦げ臭さはありません。 もう１つのチャーシューも薄切りで柔らかく、肉感も良く味もいい。 半熟玉子も美味しいです。

美味しいラーメンでした。他のメニューも色々食べたくなりました。

三沢はPayPay使えるラーメン屋さんが多いですね。

金の熟成みそらーめん。

スープはなかなかの濃さ。みそは濃いめがいい。 麺は太ちぢれで、ちょっと固め。 のれんに西山製麺ってあるけど、西山かな？自分のイメージは、もうちょいモチッとしてるんだけど、茹で方か？美味しいけど、ピンとこず。 大きいチャーシューは今日はまあまあ。 金みそは普通かな。 昔食べた金みそと内容が変わってますね。

魚介濃コクらーめん。

濃コクでいいお味。ちょっと甘め。濃いけど、しょっぱくはないです。 フライドガーリックが入ってるのは好きずきかな。 コシのある太麺も合ってます。 チャーシュー、味玉も美味しい。 外国人寄りの味付けですが、満足の一杯でした。

焦がし油鶏白湯らーめん。

黒マー油のほろ苦さを少し感じますが、とてもまろやか。 イメージより食べやすくて美味しいラーメンです。

鉄鍋カルビ炒飯。

こちらも少し甘めのタレ。 シンプルで美味しい。 青ネギをたっぷり入れて頂きました。

とんこつの風味に、円やかだけどしっかりしたスープ。 モッチリした西山らしい中太麺。 美味しい塩らーめんでした。

パイカらーめん。しょうゆ。

大きな骨付軟骨チャーシューが３切れも入っていて、けっこうなボリューム。 軟骨は楽に噛みきれる柔らかさ。米が欲しくなる美味しさ。 辛口正油を選びましたが、ピリ辛でジワジワくる感じ。味噌も美味しそうですね。

濃すぎずほどよいスープに西山の麺がいい。 生卵の黄身の甘さが引き立ちます。 チャーシューと甘辛いタレが絡んだカルビが美味しい。 ライス頼めば良かった。

Finally tried this place and it’s now our go-to ramen shop in Misawa. There’s parking out front; no long wait for food; menu items are decently priced; and they offer several choices/options to order from. The lady taking orders is nice and speaks English.
