Moja's Bakery — Restaurant in Miyakojima

This is a must when in Miyako-jima. I tried the oat latte, which was one of the best one's I've ever had. The pastries are delicious too, especially when they're still warm. My favorites were walnuts and chocolate, however there are more to choose from, such as red beans paste, plain...

Nice little bakery making only small bread buns. They bake at the spot so breads are very fresh, warm and smell is really good around the shop.

They had limited options when i was there. I was looking for something salty but had to go for raisins and cinnamon.

They can communicate in English. I don’t see parking around but many locals had a quick stop in front of it, on the street...

もじゃのパン

平日の11時少し前に到着しましたが、すでに4組ほど列ができていました。駐車場はないですが、広い道路に面しているため不便はありません。 この日は、プレーン、チョコ、ゴマ、くるみの4種類。全種類注文し焼きたてのふわふらもっちりを味わえました。 私のおすすめは、ゴマとプレーンです。小麦がぎっちりで、大きい爆弾おにぎりくらいあるので、食べ応え十分。朝からお腹いっぱいになりました。 とっても美味しかったです！

We arrived a little before 11:00 on a weekday and there were already about 4 groups in line. There is no parking lot, but it is not inconvenient as it is located on a wide street. On that day, there were four kinds: plain, chocolate, sesame, and walnut. I ordered all kinds and was able to taste the freshly baked soft and fluffy ones. I recommend the sesame and plain. They are dense with wheat and about the size of a large bomb onigiri (rice ball), so they are very satisfying. I was full from morning. It was very delicious!
