Sushi and shell sashimi were tasty and fresh. However, next time should ask if the price stated on the menu is “updated” or not, before eating.
This is what happened. We were not sure which item on the menu refers to the “black shell” sashimi. So we asked the restaurant owner (the wife probably). She pointed to us it was the “シャコ貝刺身” which cost 1500 yen and stated the same on menu inside and outside the restaurant. However, when checking the bill, it became 2000 yen and the wife didnt mention the increase or any reason. We paid eventually corz it was inside our stomach already. Yet, when we took picture on the menu outside the restaurant, she just came out and asked if there was any problem? And she suddenly said, “the price of the shell sashimi increased”.
We wish it was just a miscommunication. Yet, lesson learnt. Please check and confirm if the price on the menu is updated even it is well stated on the menu at this restaurant.
P.S. And to be honest, we won’t visit this restaurant again. Other tourists, you may consider to try it but just...
