Oyodo River Miyachiku — Restaurant in Miyazaki

I came to this place fearing the worst and getting the best response I could imagine. I usually eat vegan or vegetarian but because that is harder when travelling in some countries, I decided to eat pescetarian food in Japan. But my partner loves meat and I really wanted him to have a proper Beef Teppanyaki experience. So when we reserved a table here, we were prepared to order two meat menus and have him eat all the meat while I would eat whatever I could.

But I presented the staff with my preferences (I had prepared a text in Japanese), and they handled it like a real first class establishment, giving me a personalized seafood menu that was amazing! We both walked away very happy with our visit. The service is amazing, and the food is delicious. Don't hesitate to book a table here if you have the chance. The teppanyaki course at Miyachiku was truly exceptional. It was made even more special thanks to Chef Takefumi. He was incredibly kind and meticulous in his cooking.

The meat was so tender it melted in my mouth, perfectly grilled, and paired beautifully with the fresh vegetables and an exquisite sauce. Chef Takefumi's professionalism and warm hospitality added an extra layer of delight to the experience, making it even more memorable.

The best teppanyaki experience I had so far. Note that I'm a big fan of teppanyaki so I didn't have that many experiences.

This one is great though. The food is really really great. I'm especially impressed with the cold corn soup and the Miyazaki beef that wad cooked to perfection. I also think the chef here strikes the perfect balance between being helpful and entertaining
