Overall, this is not a place for food. It is more of a place to drink with some side dishes. However, we did not drink as we were driving. So, if you are not here to drink, definitely not worth coming.
Food is generally salty and of strong taste. I assume that is fine if pair with alcohol?
Service is fine but I noticed that all staff including cooking staff does not wear masks nor cap. Worst, they will always say "onegaishmasu" when they are almost done preparing the food to get the attention of the serving staff to serve the food. I say almost done preparing because they want to be efficient but that also means that while they are at the last phase of preparing the food, they will speak to/over the food without masks leading to potentially adding some saliva to your food.

Their signature charcoal grilled chicken was half cooked in the middle, so if you don't like your meat that way (I don't) then you're better off not ordering it.
The gyoza was not bad, but nothing to write home about.
The miso eggplant was acceptable, but again, quite ordinary.
We made reservations via Google quite easily, recommended since the place can get crowded...

The staff were friendly to help us with the menu despite no English translation. And the boss man himself recommended us a delicious glass of shochu. Love this place, not...
