How do you even begin to describe a place like Kadoya? We stumbled upon this hidden gem on our first night in Sesoko Island, Okinawa, and it instantly became a highlight of our trip. We started with the dan dan noodles, which were absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and deeply comforting. Then, as a surprise, the lovely owners offered us some sashimi that wasn’t on the menu—leftover from a reservation earlier in the evening. It turned out to be possibly the best sashimi I’ve ever had: incredibly fresh and expertly prepared.
