Don’t miss this hidden gem! I stumbled across this hidden cafe, outside is hardly any signs, but I peered into the windows and see it is on business. Obviously this place is catering returning customers. I was greeted warmly by owner couple, both friendly and I ordered a coffee. Wet napkin, a piece of chocolate and a glass of water were also provided. The vibe inside is like going back time to 1980’s. Where the customers are all surrounding neighbour oldies, with chit chatting non stop each other, while playing some old Japanese songs. As a foreigner this is eye opening and surprisingly amusing. I just enjoyed watching and listening to them although had no idea what was so heated discussed about. I paid ¥400 for the coffee but had 2 hours of much fun and culture experience.

I stumbled across this hidden cafe, outside is hardly any signs, but I peered into the windows and see it is on business. Obviously this place is catering returning customers.

I was greeted warmly by owner couple, both friendly and I ordered a coffee. Wet napkin, a piece of chocolate and a glass of water were also provided.

The vibe inside is like going back time to 1980’s. Where the customers are all surrounding neighbour oldies, with chit chatting non stop each other, while playing some old Japanese songs.
