Posting this review to tell the owners that I have never had a more delicious cheese-based dish in my life, the gratin was simply incredible. It is difficult to find something that's cheesy AND creamy that doesn't make you feel sick after finishing your food, and the mushrooms they used in this were very flavourful, I almost want to wish for meat in this dish.
It takes a lot of courage to unapologetically open a non soba shop in this area, but this was a very good find. Was initially sceptical but after reading their self description on their website, I thought that it would be unique to try farm fresh produce and it did not disappoint.
Unfortunately we had to rush for the bus, so we couldnt really savour the dessert but the chiffon cake (made using soba buckwheat) was simply delicious with a side of absolutely fresh fruit, and the catalana was absolutely wonderful.
Very wonderful vibes as other people have commented, feels like a rustic log cabin that's well worth the journey after visiting kagami ike. Shame we didn't see...

I got the grilled fish pasta which came with lots of veggies and fresh herbs. Absolutely delicious, only complaint was that there were some bones in the fish. The cheesecake was tasty as well and not too sweet.
I saw some reviews mentioned a dog at the restaurant and asked to meet him. Rosso was outside by the back door. He seems to be going blind 😢 but was still very sweet and friendly. He was whining a bit I’m not sure if he was cold outside or just excited to meet a stranger. Overall very glad I got to meet this adorable dog! I hope he gets lots of pets and continues to enjoy his life in this beautiful...

It’s very quiet and serene. The food came quickly and was very delicious. Since you’re up in the mountains, there’s no reception. But, they give you the wifi password, so that’s nice.
I highly recommend this place. Just be aware of the parking ( some is private), and having to take off your shoes and...
