SUZUDELI — Restaurant in Nagaoka

Amazing veggie friendly food with lots of variety. Tried the choose three lunch special, but it also comes in try 4 or try 5 options for people who come to eat. My partner and I both tried the Spanish omelette, but it wasn’t our favorite. Something about cold eggs always sets me off as an American, but the flavor profile was on point, creamy eggs with a healthy helping of mushrooms which gave it a satisfying texture. Also tried Suzu Deli’s take on caponata. It was perfectly prepared potatoes, eggplants, bell peppers, and onions marinated in miso and a hearty tomato glaze. The interplay of the two sauces created a symphony of taste. Loved it! The final piece was a red cabbage and carrot rappe which had a hint of vinegar in it but was balanced on the lighter side of flavoring. I highly recommend trying it if you visit. My partner tried the tempura wheat gluten wheel, called ‘fu’ in Japan, and the juxtaposition of a food that’s usually stewed being batter fried raised her eyebrows in a good way. It usually comes with a Demi-glace sauce, but we opted for a lighter take, and the crispy crunch was very satisfying. The pick three menu comes with a rich red miso soup with Enoki mushrooms and daikon. I just wish there was more substance to the soup, but it was still delicious. Diners also have the option of bread or millet-infused rice, and we opted for the rice, and it rounded out the meal nicely. 以前友人と利用させていただいて今日は家族と来店 入店しても特に店員さんからなんの案内もなくとりあえず案内表に名前と人数を書きました、どこでお待ちくださいとかも言われなかったので店内のレジ前に椅子があったのでそこで座って待っていました。

しばらくなんの声かけもないまま待っていたのに後から来たお客さんを先に案内していました。先の都合で前後することもあるとは思いますが表記もなく普通何名でお待ちの〇〇様と言うような呼び出しもなく。「あ、先の人いたんですねテイクアウトのお客様かと思いましたすみません」と軽く言われただけ。 小さめの店内だしそんなに混雑もしていないしレジ前のよく見える席で待っていたのに。 呼び出しと確認把握も出来ないなら案内表に名前を書く意味がないのではないでしょうか？ 本間さんと言う名前の方だったと思います。 イベントの日の準備などでも忙しかったのかもしれませんが最低限のちゃんとした接客が出来ないならその日の営業方法を考えるなどしてほしいです。 久しぶりの母との食事でとても楽しみにしていたのでとてもとても残念でした。 高校生などのアルバイトではないのですし大人ならしっかり最低限...
