Cafe Okinawan — Restaurant in Nago

Lovely place with a super warm owner. I chanced upon this place when I heard strumming of guitar coming out of the premises.

I knew I had to satisfy my curiosity and boy, was it one of the most amazing nights I've spent this year.

Do come here for the occasional live music showcase by local musicians. I was lucky to have encountered musicians from the swing band The Majestics playing here on the night I came. It was soooooo good.

The deco of this cafe is pretty quirky as well.

I highly recommend visiting this underrated hidden...

It's a great bar with incredible music. Make sure you meet Rumi and tell her what music you like, she has an incredible collection. If you play the piano or guitar, you're in luck. I play both and I ended up playing and singing for hours there. The owner was sweet enough to cook me some Pork Curry as well the next day for dinner. Also, she made me try the Nago Beer which turned out to be amazing. You'll love the place....

A nice place which owns by a lady originally from Okinawa. It's super nicely designed and pretty busy in terms of design etc so very intensive but nicely decorated with flowers etc. There is limitation in terms of time and opening times usually from 5pm afterwards. Good for people who smoke but not for non smokers because it semlls and possibly not suitable for kids. But it's a lovely place to visit...
