Bistro Kenji — Restaurant in Nagoya

I went with my partner and reserved for a lunch course (seems they only accept customers with reservation!). EVERY single dish was delicious on a course with a harumaki and spinach-avocado gratin entreé followed by an "aji" dish. Can't remember the details, but the ingredients are carefully selected from all around the country as far from Hokkaido! The main dish for me was Iberico pork really well prepared surrounded for cranberry sauce, with a perfect smoked finish. All previous dishes were garnished with fresh herbs that are not easily found around. At this point we both were very satisfied but we also got a delicious linguini with crab and tomato sauce, juicy on the point and not acidic at all. The desert was to die for, an ice cream made of black beans with a nutty terrine on the bottom and topped with a caramel praline with orange which was a perfect match for the espresso I got. We ordered a decanter of white wine which the chef recommended as a good match and got served a fresh opened bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from France, of course. The timing of the dishes were on point even with plenty more customers, the execution of the dishes were stellar starting from the choice of the plates until the delicate finish. こんな素敵なお店がこんなところにあったのかと思いながら店内に入るとお花が飾ってあったり可愛くて落ち着く雰囲気😌 椅子がふかふかでビックリしました😳

4800円のランチコースをお願いしましたが どれも見た目も味も感動と驚きがすごくて食感も楽しくて美味しくて最高でした😋
