Nice little restaurant on the Nakasendo trail, we stopped by for lunch as we skipped all the restaurants in Magomejuku due to the crowds of tourists. This place mainly has sticky chestnut rice and soba, and we each got a serving of cold soba which was perfect for the hot and sunny weather. Plenty of side dishes and for a reasonable price. The staff was quite busy but still provides good service, English menus were available and a big help. They also served soft serve and there is a vending machine outside the place to buy a drink to bring with you on you’re hike. Not the best place but nothing to complain about, we enjoyed our lunch break here...
