Tucked away in Nasu, this unassuming pizzeria delivers a masterclass in Italian cuisine that could rival the finest establishments in Naples. Our order included the Wagyu Bolognese spaghetti, two Margherita pizzas, and the Italian sausage pizza, each showcasing a meticulous attention to detail and a deep respect for tradition.
The Margherita pizza is a standout - a symphony of balance and craftsmanship. The crust is impeccable: firm yet airy, with a depth of flavor that speaks to the quality of the imported flours from Italy, France, and Hokkaido. The tomato sauce, a blend of Campo Grande and Donna Rosa, achieves the elusive harmony of sweet and tangy, while the mozzarella, imported directly from Italy, melts into the sauce with rich, creamy perfection. This isn't just pizza; it's an artisanal creation born of the chef’s rigorous training in Naples, honed to perfection with precise cooking times and handmade pizza oven. The result is a Margherita that could confidently compete on a global stage - a true testament to the artistry of simple, authentic pizza-making.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, though securing a table can be a challenge. But for a dining experience this exceptional, the wait is more than justified. To those who describe this pizza as merely "okay," one can only question their appreciation of the skill required to elevate a humble dish into a culinary masterpiece.
This restaurant is a must for anyone who values authenticity, precision, and the soul of Italian cuisine. 5/5. P.s. I asked to talk with the chef / owner and he was lovely. The aroma in the kitchen took me instantly back to my Nonna's kitchen - almost brought...

Very private restaurant, seating less than 20 people, in a discrete location just one step away from the main road. It seems open for lunch service only.
The front staff is just one lady who is absolutely full of attention and does a wonderful job with the service, although at times she is visibly overloaded with work, she is a star, no doubt.
Course started with a salad with the best roast potatoes I've had in Japan. It's a shame there were only two of them.
We had the mortadelle pizza and some meat sauce pasta, both were very delightful. The pizza felt very authentic, the dough was close to perfect. Mortadelle is my favourite ham so I'll be biased on the taste, but it's a testimony to the quality, really.
Pasta was OK, not quite authentic, but good in its own right.
But let me tell you what I want to be fed buckets of: their frozen cream catalana for dessert. Just put this in my mouth, please.
Price wise, I'll admit it's a bit high, but it's still cheaper than any chain...
Read moreThe food is delicious!! Especially the pizza is absolutely on point, the best and most fresh ingredients on the pizza and the perfect pizza dough. I recommend the pizza course that comes with a starter platter and really good desserts. The place itself is a rustic building with a wooden interior, surrounded by greenery. The staff was so kind and welcoming ( I think this place is run by the owners - the husband in the kitchen and the wife in the hall). Absolutely...
