Uncle still cannot forget the awesome bonito meal he ate here. Even while typing this he feels like flying back to Japan to enjoy this one of a kind meal that you can't find in Singapore (sg only has the relatively inferior bonito flakes) . For around 1500 yen you get bonito fish marinated separately in soy sauce and sesame sauce, which taste super umami when grilled. Cannot describe in words.. Must taste to understand. I stopped here by chance during my cycling trip. It had rained and I was wet when I entered. The very friendly staff immediately offered me a towel to get dry. I don't speak much Japanese, but that was not a problem at all. There's an English menu and the staff are very patient and accommodating. They even offered me an おみやげ as I left.
