Trattoria Nora Cucina — Restaurant in Niigata

元々はお寺の敷地だったんでしょうか。緑豊かなお庭を眺めながら食事を楽しめます。 駐車場は広いです。 予約なしで週末のランチタイムに伺いました。入り口にウェイティング用の発券機があるのですが特に説明がないので分からずそのまま待つ人もいました。

ペアランチセットを注文し、前菜、パスタとピッツァを1種ずつ、ドルチェとドリンクがついたセットで2名で3500円（税抜）です。 メニューは地元素材を積極的に使ったものが多く、地元貢献の努力が感じられますし全て美味しかったです。

メニューは文句なしにいいのですが、全体的にちょっとだけ不親切に感じたのは、入店しても入り口の出迎えはなし（発券機もわかりにくい）、入り口から店内が見えないので店内にいるであろう店員さんの所までアプローチしにくい。 ペアセットを注文しても取り皿を持ってきてくれないなど。 あとは忙しいからか、商品説明が早口で義務的に感じすぎてせっかく説明して頂いているのに魅力を感じられないところ。

お料理は美味しいですし人気の理由は理解できます。 入り口でごちゃごちゃするの嫌だなあって方は予約してから行くと無駄なストレスを軽減できていいかもしれません。

The restaurant was originally located on the grounds of a temple. You can enjoy your meal while gazing out at the lush, green garden. I visited during the weekend lunch hour without a reservation. There is a ticket machine for the waiting list at the entrance, but since there were no instructions, some people were confused and waited without realizing it.

We ordered the pair lunch set, which includes an appetizer, one pasta and one pizza, dessert, and a drink for two people at 3,500 yen (excluding tax). The menu features many dishes that actively use local ingredients, showing their efforts to contribute to the community, and everything was delicious.

While the menu was excellent, I felt the service was a bit lacking. There was no greeting when we entered (the ticket machine was confusing), and since you can’t see inside the restaurant from the entrance, it felt awkward to approach the staff who were likely inside. Despite ordering the pair set, no one brought us extra plates to share the dishes. Also, perhaps because they were busy, the staff’s explanations of the dishes were rushed and felt obligatory, making it hard to appreciate the charm of what they were describing.

I can understand why the place is popular. If you’re someone who dislikes the hassle at the entrance, it might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance to reduce...

It's cool I guess. Not as authentic as I wished since it's a remake of the original. You walk around in circle and look at ancient Japan castle interior. The rooms were not elaborate at all and pretty plain, i wished to see something like a Samurai armor...
