🍚🍗 Nanban Chicken was good! 👍 A bit fluffy on top and very tender chicken. They offer Yuzu and Mustard as dipping if you need, but also great on its own! Very unique nanban with no tartar! 🍗🍚 We also ordered the Momoyaki Set Meal, the chicken was super tender, and it was perfectly grilled. (This dish is 20-30 min wait, and it is worth the extra wait 😀)

Was it worth driving over an hour and a half from Oita for a meal here? Definitely.

We had the normal chicken lunch sets and they were tasty - soft yet crunchy batter and fresh tasting, going well with the mustard and yuzu sauces provided.

Waiting for the crunchier tonkatsu type MoMo would have required a wait of an extra 30 minutes.

Exquisite chicken nanban. Where chicken nanban was created. There isn’t much to do in Nobeoka, but it’s worth coming to this small town just for this meal.
