We had a very nice time here while we were staying in town. It was initially awkward because we arrived before they were due to open (there wasn't any information on Google) and due to our limited Japanese, but we quickly settled down for a great omakase experience!
Incredible fresh fish and seafood straight from the nearby fishing port, prepared right in front of you and nicely presented. All very tasty.
We weren't offered a menu on the day, we just defaulted into the omakase which consisted of 8-10 dishes (depending on how you count!) including lovely sashimi, brilliant nigiri and other small dishes.
We managed to converse a bit with the owner and chef, who treated us very well. At the beginning of the meal they even offered to go out and buy the drink we initially asked for because they didn't have it. The atmosphere was cozy and cool too.

He made fresh sashimi for us in front of us, and was a warm host. He also let us have a bit of sake and took out his swords to show us! This was the best omakase experience I've ever had.
