木村食堂 — Restaurant in Obihiro

Fun decor...it reminds me of another store in Obihiro - Najah- that served unique butadon burgers (but sadly closed a few years ago). Kimura Shokudo is a little smoky inside...but it’s cooking smoke, not tobacco smoke, so not completely objectionable. I was sad to see the regrettable absence of shakes on the drinks menu. To my mind, you don’t offer hamburgers without shakes as well. You just don’t.

That disappointment faded when my burger arrived. It was fantastic! Big, rich, juicy and flavourful. The fries that came with it were also delicious, and I was pleased to see that this restaurant is not stingy with condiments, but rather leaves big bottles of ketchup and mustard on the table for customers to use freely.
