Okinawa is has a variety of international cuisines and never did I think they'd have Peruvian food.
INKA chicken has a simple but enticing menu. From your traditional, fall-off-the-bone Peruvian chicken served with crispy french fries to their mouth-watering lomo saltado you can't go wrong picking an entree here. The meat, potatoes, and rice taste great by themselves but if take your plate to another level and pour some (or all!) of the finger-licking Aji Amarillo or Aji Verde sauce on to your meal!
The dining area is small but great and if you have kids there are a variety of toys they can distract themselves. Waiting only makes you salivate more as the waves of aromas crash through the kitchen but don't fret you won't be kept dreaming for too long. Takeout options are...

With a Peruvian wife, I’m always excited to see a Peruvian restaurant, especially in the middle of Okinawa!
Upon arrival, we were informed they were out of a few items. We both ordered the Peruvian Beef with Inca Kola.
I find the dish to be most reminiscent of Bistec a lo Pobre (poor man’s steak). That said, it was delicious!
Our wait wasn’t long, the food was proportioned well and priced right. All positive in my experience!
As mentioned earlier, I just wish they hadn’t been out of some items. I would have loved a glass of chicha, for instance.

Read moreTwice I've come by during weekend business hours and this place hasn't been open. At least the first time, updated hours were posted a couple weeks later. Today I came by just after noon (Sunday), waited out front, walked around the hood, came back at 12:30 - still closed.
Bummer.
Follow-up: friend of mine convinced me to try to go one more time. It was open and damn was it good. The best I've ever had? No, but the best I've had in a long time. Limited menu, but if it were only chicken, I'd still think about moving in permanently. Taking it from 1 to 3 stars.
