Yasu Sushi — Restaurant in Okinawa

This. One of the oldest sushi shokudo on the island. The quality was amazing. The rice had a distinct flavor along with each how it sushi. The unagi (eel) was so delicious and I have not had this much flavor on Okinawa. They have an English menu, but it does not include everything if you can read Japanese. The service is great. They have two floors, with private dining on the first floor towards the back. You can eat at the bar and watch the chef too. Easy parking, great...

We are not connoisseurs of Japanese food (yet), but appreciated the freshness of the food and attentiveness of the staff. We ordered the 'deluxe garnished sushi' and 'mixed stew with beef' Large portions for "normal" lunch prices. Miso soup is delicious and has muscles in it.

Sushi and miso soup were very good, the guy I went with said the combo platter (fried chicken, hamburger, fried shrimp, and steak) wasn't very good, I didn't try it, so I can't say much about it, but take that for what it is.
