Pizzeria da Enzo
Having lived in Italy for 4 years, Pizzeria da Enzo is a nice treat for a traditional Italian pizza. As soon as you enter the restaurant you see the genuine Gianni Acunto pizza oven built in Italy and imported to Okinawa. Even the flour is imported from Italy. The menu has a wide range of pizzas to chose from, and while normally I do not like a large menu, I make an exception for this one, because the pizzas are made to order and cooked very fast. The pizzas are the perfect size for one adult and when you finish it, you don’t feel miserably full. I ordered the Waygu Beef Tagliata, Fungi, and Margarita pizzas. The pizza ingredients are delightfully fresh and really make each pizza unique. I also had the Pumpkin Soup, the secret star of the dinner. The soup is so light and creamy with an incredible flavor of pumpkin and high quality cream, you want to lick the bowl clean. Seating options include a couch with a low table by the bar, traditional table seating and outdoor patio seating. For the children, there’s even a basket full of toys to keep them entertained while everyone enjoys their meal. The restrooms are very clean and even have toilets that have a motion sensor for the lid. Parking is limited, so if possible I’d recommend car pooling.
For the customer: Don’t let the high prices of the menu deter you from visiting this pizzeria. The cost of the ingredients and the quality of the food is appropriate for the pricing. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try something unique on the menu you may find it to be surprisingly delicious. I recommend eating inside even though the atmosphere outside is fantastic.
For the business: Outside of the pizza, the menu can be a little overwhelming. The pizza is the star of the restaurant and the rest of the menu could probably afford to be cut down. I also didn’t see a wine list, such an establishment should have a nice wine list. The patio has a bug infestation of what appeared to be aphids. While Okinawa has an abundance of plant and animal life, I found it quite distracting on my dinner table.
Overall impression: This has been my favorite Italian style pizza restaurant on island so far. The food is very much like I have experienced in Italy and the staff is top notch. Highly recommend...

The restaurant's environment was simply splendid, offering a picturesque view that enhanced our dining experience. The combination of great ambiance and friendly service created a truly memorable evening.
We must make a special mention of the Seafood Risotto we ordered. It was an absolute delight, surpassing our expectations in terms of flavor and presentation. The portion size was just right, striking a perfect balance between satisfaction and not overwhelming our appetites. Additionally, the promptness with which our food was served was truly impressive, especially considering how starving we were upon arrival.
We would also like to thanks the staffs for their exceptional service on the night we visited close to their last order time. Despite the late hour, they treated us with utmost care and attentiveness. This level of dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable and left a lasting impression on us.

Read moreWe had gotten take out a couple times from here and always thought the food was pretty good. But tonight we dined in and oh my word, what a meal! The dine in menu is excellent! We had the seasonal salad-a must try with that red onion vinaigrette alone. We had the seafood carpaccio half order and it was the perfect amount between my husband and I-very fresh. The clam chowder was good, my three year old loved it. Everyone was a margherita pizza fan-The three year old polished it off and asked for another. The seafood risotto was so full of seafood and flavor, totally delicious. The star of the night in my opinion was the red prawn pasta in cream sauce (something like that). The shrimps were large and cooked perfectly. The sauce was so smooth and luscious-absolute heaven. In short, dine in and you won’t be...
