The inside is charming. They don't have a lot of seating, and I'm not sure the owner actually wants a lot of eat-in customers. The website says they welcome takeout orders and I think that is meant to contrast their attitude toward eat-in orders. I say this for a number of reasons. First, it's a one-man operation. The owner does everything himself so it can take a lot of time if there are a lot of customers. Second, he charges 350 yen per person if you don't order a drink. That makes me think he'd rather not have sit-down customers unless they make it worth his while. Third, he sells bottles of Italian drinks for 400 yen on a shelf, but if you are a sit-down customer, you have to pay 650 yen to drink it in the shop. Fourth, the open time is listed as 5:30 on the website. However, what's not listed, is that's the time you can pick up pizzas. If you are a sit-down customer, you must wait until 6:00 to have your order taken. Fifth, it seems they only accept sit-down customers on Mondays and Tuesdays by reservation.
As for the food, it wasn't my favorite margherita. The sauce was good, but the cheese was much chewier than I'm used to. My wife enjoyed the Poporo pizza but noted, as another reviewer did, that some of the dishes weren't the cleanest. I think it can be tough to focus on everything when one person is doing it all.
