TLDR: Fantastic food and some of the kindest people we met on our trip! We stopped by here twice during our stay in Osaka because (1) the food was all delicious (especially the salads) and (2) the owners were so lovely. They have a rotating menu, so definitely worth a repeat trip.
On our first visit, we were planning to use Google translate to review the menu, but a regular customer there who spoke English noticed us and was so excited to chat about the restaurant that he ended up helping us order. We got the salad of the day, the shumai, and the eel—all fantastic. You could taste the flavour from the ingredient itself in its purest form. Felt like home. Not sure that’s the culture but they also provided me some homemade side dish to pair with my plum wine-which the flavour...

Coming from abroad and not speaking japanese, the owners made me feel welcomed and were interested in where I came from. They also suggested me about a festival soon. I would come...
