What a delightful place. We were a family of five traveling from America and visiting Japan for the first time. The hospitality was excellent at this restaurant, and the food was wonderfully prepared. We had several appetizers: caprese, roasted oysters with garlic & tomatoes and a generous Caesar salad; all of which were delicious and easily shared. We had two pasta dishes: the gnocchi with Gorgonzola which was rich and creamy and the Cacio de Pepe which had a lemon zest as a pleasant addition to the traditional dish. Finally, we had the brick oven pizza with a perfectly chewy crust and fresh toppings like sausage, mushrooms, etc. We ended the meal with gelato and panna cotta for dessert. Also, they had a very solid wine selection and we got to sample four different red wines. This restaurant was conveniently located near where we were staying but honestly it would have been worth the extra trip regardless. A great meal....

I honestly cannot recommend this place ENOUGH! I've spent three weeks in Japan and this is by far the friendliest restaurant with the best tasting food. Thank you for making...

The restaurant owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. We learned that Pargolo is a family business (even down to the hardwood tables made by the owners aunt!) The owners renovated the restaurant by hand live next door. We will be back and I...
