2024/1 Update: Dropped rating to 1 star. The soup was very watered down, and when I asked if they had changed the recipe, the guy already knew that I was going to say it didn't have flavor. Until they stop trying to save a few yen by watering down the soup, don't bother coming here.
2022/7 Update: Revisited the restaurant a few years after my original review, and it was much improved. The soup was a lot more smooth and flavorful, and the garlic was nicely balanced, with options to change the strength of it or remove it altogether. I was especially impressed by the chaashuu, which was melty and delicious, honestly some of the best I've had. The price had gone up to 900 yen per bowl, which was a little disappointing, but understandable with food costs rising and the fact that this is a late-night joint. I also felt like there were less noodles than a typical bowl of ramen.
Old Review: A bowl of ramen cost ¥850, but it tasted like it was worth ¥600. The soup was super garlicky, as the name "garlic ramen" indicates, but you could get the same flavor at any ramen joint that lets you crush your own raw garlic. There was really no other flavor than garlic. The chaashuu was dry and bland, and the moyashi also had no flavor (or if it did, it was drowned in garlic).
