This is a fish (sakana) restaurant which specialises mainly in seafood.

We had dinner here. Arrived at about 6.00pm but was told most of the items were sold out already. Could have been the lunch crowd that ate all the good stuff!!

We ordered a fish set and a boiled fish in soya sauce. The set came with rice, soup, half a cray fish and the salt baked fish. The ala carte boiled fish was quite generous in portion.

All in, it was about 3500yen. Not too bad for 2 persons as we are big eaters.

Taste wise, quite alright but nothing to shout about. Price, reasonable for the portions. Parking was easy, just outside the shop.

Place was tastefully done up with both tables n tatami styles.

Owners were game enough to communicate on Eng using their mobile phone translator.

Generally an ok place for a good meal if you are not in the mood...

This omakase sashimi, nizakana, yakizakana seafood restaurant has an ever changing seasonal set lunch menu. Their sashimi is brought fresh from the Sea of Japan and is cut thick fisherman style. There is limited seating and their open hours vary. Currently open only for lunch. Check online before you go to make sure they...

Great value for the quality of seasonal seafood ...we had the daily special menu on seasonal crab, grilled fish set and 1 side of braised fish. Average cost per lunch menu is between 2200 to 2500 as of Dec 2023.

Do recommend this unique and local vibe but do check out the train and store...
