So delicious!! I’ve been dying to try the omi beef and we decided to go to this one after seeing the tourism brochure. Service was excellent and the food was so good. So delicious! We had the set course and we tried both the tenderloin and sirloi. set course. From the appetizer to main course and dessert, all delicious. The tomato soup was a stand out. Creamy and sweet. What a delicate flavour. They give you a rose that you can eat too. The beef, of course, was something. Truly cooked into perfection. Tender and melt into your mouth. The sirloin was a stand out amazingly (cheaper compared to tenderloin too). It melt into your mouth and just the perfect size. The tenderloin was thicker and a little bit harder to bite into but still taste amazing. Everything is perfection. There is no english menu but I would definitely go back if Im ever in the area.

We loved this very much. Fantastic introduction to Omi beef. Not English friendly, but the staff here are super earnest and sincere. And they really tried to accommodate us as foreigners. The meal consists of several courses, using different parts of the cow. Highly recommend! Price/quality ratio is off the charts.

The decor is nice. Chef and staff super friendly and warm. All dishes are delicious and arranged beautifully. The omi beef is among the best steak I have ever had. This is a boutique restaurant with only two tables and bar table. Suggest to book ahead.

although there is no english menu and the staffs do not speak much english, i believe any item you order on the menu will not go wrong. all items are a set meal if you go for lunch. great hospitality and even greater omni beef!

〈2021年11月〉 高校野球秋季近畿大会で大阪桐蔭を見に大津に来た時に初めて来店しました。 シャトーブリアンを選択、今までで一番美味しかった。おすすめの冷酒もフルーティーで美味しかった。接客も良く全てが完璧。 ＜2022年3月〉 東京に戻り「くすたろうのシャトーブリアンが１番」と言ったので、それならと私よりも舌がこえている2名を連れてシャトーブリアンをいただきました。先月その彼らを六本木の某ホテルの鉄板焼きに連れて行ったが、「そこより１００倍以上美味しい」とのことでした。来店した日に甲子園で大好きな近江高校が逆転勝利した日でもあった。良かった! <2022年8月11日> シャトーブリアン懐石を頂いた。肉は勿論、桃の冷製スープは美味しかった。夏期限定だそう。ホントに美味しかった。 〈2022年11月25日〉 シャトーブリアン懐石を頂いた。今回は秋だから栗のクリームスープで美味しかった。肉も火加減をお任せにして頂いた。 〈2023年3月30日〉 今回もシャトーブリアン懐石いただきました。安定の美味しさ。毎年２回、春と夏の甲子園見に行くときの楽しみです。 〈2024年3月30日〉 昨年夏は定休日で食べられなかったので、春は絶対に行きたいと思って訪れました。やっぱりここのシャトーブリアンが１番美味しいと思います。 【追記】 何回かおじゃまさせて頂いたのですが、シェフやお店の方々に顔を覚えて頂き、帰るときはお忙しい中お見送りをして頂けるお店です。

肉を食べたい時に行く店です。近江牛でこの値段は安い。京都なら倍はします。毛利志摩(モリシマ)で料理人をしていたシェフが開業してらしく、毛利志摩の牧場で育ったA4A5ランクを使っていると言ってました。ランチのコスパが良く（昼食としては高いけど、近江牛としては安いという意味で）、ステーキ丼、焼肉重などがオススメ。 私は、ここのステーキが大好きで、ランプ肉、サーロイン肉、ヒレ肉があり、前菜、サラダ、スープ、ご飯、食後にコーヒー、デザートがつく。さすがにまだヒレステーキは食べていないが、ランプ、サーロインステーキは、やわらく満足できました。また、ビーフカツもいい。
