CHACHARA cafe+shop — Restaurant in Saijo

A very nice lunch cafe that we found almost by accident walking around Saijo. Parking is available so it would be convenient to drive to the restaurant also. The staff is very cheerful and polite. The decor is cute and interesting. The food was very nice. My wife and I both had the chicken curry. It had a unique, hearty, spicy flavor, without being overly hot. The unique twist was the cheese on the curry which looked like it had been melted with a torch. It was unusual but added a very interesting taste and texture. The side salad was fresh and crisp. The coffee was flavorful and robust, without being bitter. The atmosphere, probably my favorite part of the experience, was very calm and relaxing. オープン時間過ぎぐらいに行きました。 お店は狭い道沿いにあって 運転に自信のない方は少し注意が必要かもです。 駐車場スペースは砂利で７台駐められるみたいです。

日曜日でしたがお客さんは一組のみでした。

店員さんからお好きな席をと案内されたので 悩んだあげく入口左側の席を選びました。 どの席も悩むクオリティーです。 テーブル席２つ ローテーブル席(ソファ)２つ カウンターが2面ぐらいの構成でした。

店内は広々とした印象で吊り下げ式の数種のライトが多くとてもワクワクする雰囲気がありました。 あちこちスヌーピー達散りばめられていて 好きな方にはたまらないかもしれません！ 店員さん曰く オープン当初からスヌーピーが散りばめられていたわけではなく、お客さんから貰ったりと増えていったらしいです。

月替りランチプレートと炙りチキンカレーを頼みました。 チキンカレーは辛めでしたが美味しかったです。 お腹もしっかり膨れて満足。 食後にエスプレッソドッピオを頼んで 香りを楽しんでから退店しました。 滞在時間は2時間以内なのでゆっくりしたい方は注意が必要かもです。 (滞在時間は伝票で確認できました) 思ってたよりゆっくりしてしまい2時間はあっという間でした。笑
