オリーブの丘 さいたま蓮沼店 — Restaurant in Saitama

Service is terrible. The servers here, especially the one at the counter, are one of the most incompetent servers I have ever encountered. We came at around 8:00 pm so it wasn't even peak time where we can say it was busy so there were some mistakes.

Although we requested the table seating option,the server comes and suggests we sit at the counter even though there were tables available. When we go to the counter there is a pillar in between our seats, so we say we don't want to sit there and would rather wait for the next table to open up but then when the next table opens up, he skipped us. Instead he called the next customers on the list. We had to go there and remind him that we were waiting and were supposed to be next in line, and that's when with an annoyed expression, he says that he will take us to our seat. Sadly, he had no sense to apologize, neither to us nor to the next customers for his mistake. There were tables that were empty and clean, but for some reason they kept people waiting in the lobby. This was what left me scratching my head about the system and the management.

We get to the table and the first food I order, is burnt black like charcoal. Not sure if this was on purpose or a coincidence that the kitchen let burnt food be served.

In addition to all this, all the portion size is extremely small. I have a small diet but even after having eaten 3 different full orders I feel insatiated. Usually a meal of ¥1,500 at other similar quality family restaurants full me to the brim but here after spending ¥2,000 I am still hungry. So, if you are someone with a big diet, maybe this isn't the place for you.

Usually the quality justifies the price tag but the quality here is almost the same, if not slightly worse, than family restaurants like Jolly Pasta, Saizeriya, Gusto and Coco's. So, if you're someone on a budget, this place isn't for you either. (E.g. I ordered the Quattro Formaggi Pizza, similar pizzas in other restaurants are overflowing with cheese. Here cheese was barely there and when eating I could only taste the dry bread.)

Also the food tends to be a bit on the saltier side, so if you're someone who is health conscious, this isn't the place for you.

In short, I would not recommend this establishment cause of small portion size, unjustifiable pricing, and most importantly terrible management...

2022年12月29日（木）に、2回目の利用をしました。入店は、夕方、5時過ぎ。 3名で、前菜 4皿、シェアサラダ（2〜3名分）、パスタ・ピッツァ 3皿、デザート 3皿の 計11皿とハウスワインデキャンタ（440ml）をいただきました。 前菜のカマンべールチーズのアヒージョ（バケット6コ付）、パスタのえびのビスククリームソースが、とりわけおいしかった。店舗限定のしぼりたてモンブラン（プリン、バニラジェラートにマロンペースト）にも、とても満足しました。 価格は、総額6,468円（税込）。サイゼリヤと比較すれば高めなのは否めませんが、各料理とも手ごろな価格だと考えます。パスタはボリュームをそう多くせず価格を抑えながら、品質を実現していると感じました。 とくに、前菜メニューが豊富で、食べてみたくなる料理が充実しています。また、今回は利用しませんでしたが、ドリンクバーには、シャルドネ、カベルネのソフトドリンクもあり、選択肢が多く、楽しめます。 シェアしながら、品質の良い料理を、いくつも楽しめる点で、コストパフォーマンスは、高いと考えます。 店舗は、2021年オープンでもあり、きれいで明るく、清潔でした。外・内装やメニュー表も、良い雰囲気です。駐車場には、十分な収容スペースがあります。 新型コロナウィルス感染対策はとられていますが、夕方の早い時間で自分たちの前には...

2024年8月5日(月)にオリーブの丘 さいたま蓮沼店をランチで訪れました。 店舗のそばに広めのの駐車場があり、お店に入ると入口のそばに受付機があります。 暑い日でしたが店内は冷房が効いて気持ちが良かったです。 お店の造りはカウンター席とテーブル席があり、広めです。 客層は老若男女幅広く、ランチタイムは混み合っていました。 店内ではリズミカルなBGMが流れていました。 カウンター席に案内されて、注文はタッチパネルでしました。 会計はセルフレジです。 お店の人のにこやかな接客も良かったです。
