レストランさくら — Restaurant in Sakura

The curry and the set meal both came with rice made from ancient grains, which was a pleasant surprise. In Japan, it's not uncommon for museums and art galleries to have restaurants attached, and these often feature local produce and traditional dishes from the surrounding area. The food quality is generally quite high too, so I'd definitely recommend...

Needed a quick bite to eat as a friend of mine took me to the museum and we were starving. The food was good, service solid. This is not a fancy place, kinda takes you back in time...

歴博中心で楽しむのに とても重宝します。

2025/04 歴史民俗博物館の建物内にあるレストランですが、実質館外の扱いになっています。

なので、館外からのレストランへの出入りは自由で、入館料はかかりません。

館内の見学中にお腹が減った場合は、検札を一度出てレストランでお腹を満たして(更に建物外の城趾公園で外の空気をすってから) 館内に戻って、再度見学することが可能です。

10時から営業していますが、食事の提供は11時からだそうで、それまでは喫茶のみだそうです。

ホットドッグは喫茶扱いなので大丈夫ということでした。 アイスコーヒーとのセット(800円)を注文。

結構美味しかったです。

席数は広々70～80ほどで ベーシックな飲み物は400円なので 一休みには最適です。

通し営業なので自分のタイミングや混み具合を見て利用できますし、値段も街に出て食べるのとほぼ変わらないので、ゆったり見学や散策を楽し...
